A New York Love Story Cassie Rocca

Hey guys today I am here with a book review for the book A New York Love Story by Cassie Rocca.

A New York Love Story: A festive romance full of Christmas Magic (Blame it on New York) by [Rocca, Cassie]

Giving a present is not always easy. Clover O’Brian knows that only too well: her job consists of helping people in the arduous task of choosing unusual gifts. Christmas is coming, New York is buzzing, and Clover, who has always loved the festive period, savours the atmosphere.

Cade Harrison already has everything in life. A Hollywood actor, he is handsome, rich, famous and popular. Success, however, has its downsides; having just emerged from a disastrous relationship with an actress, he feels a need to hide away in an area unfrequented by stars, in an apartment lent him by a friend, far from prying eyes – especially those of tabloid reporters. But as chance will have it, the apartment in question is right opposite the one occupied by Clover, who until now has seen Hollywood actors only on the big screen. Two quite different lives meet by chance, at the most exhilarating time of year…

Received this book for review from netgally and the publisher in exchange for an honest review

This  beautiful story follows  Clover O Brian who is a bright Woman and Cade Harrison a famous actor. Clover lives alone on Staten Island. Since her father died ten years before she has had a difficult relationship with her family. Cade Harrison has recently experienced bad publicity and has left LA to avoid being in the public eye for a not and stays at his friends apartment. This house is across the street from Clover and they meet in the street when Clover is playing with the neighbours children and she recognises him instanty.

I love both Clover and Cade and I love the writing style of this novel it has just the right amount of humor and I can picture this story happening in a normal life situation. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I cant wait to read more of her work in the future.
