Received  this book for review from netgally and the publisher

This book follows Lane Scott who is a retired marine and is adjusting back to life as a double amputee. However he wont let his disability get him down but since his injury he hasn’t really had much at all to do with woman but that all changes the day that Felicity Danvers comes into town. They already knew each other at school but never really dated suddenly though they are aware of some chemistry between them as they try and figure out their feelings.

i loved Lane and he was easy to get to know and i loved his character however i did struggle a bit at connecting with Felicity as easily. i loved the writing style of this and as this is the first book that i have read by this author i cant wait to read more in the future. .

this is the fifth book in the Scott brothers series however i feel like i haven’t missed anything without reading the others so this can be read alone.
