Christmas at the little beach street bakery Jenny Colgan

hey guys today i am here with another review

It’s Christmas in the Cornish coastal village of Mount Polbearne – a time for family, friends and feasting.

Polly Waterford loves running the Little Beach Street Bakery. She’s at her happiest when she’s creating delicious treats and the festive season always inspires her to bake and knead something extra special for the village residents. In fact, the only thing she loves more than her bakery is curling up with her gorgeous boyfriend, Huckle. She’s determined that this Christmas is going to be their best one yet, but life doesn’t always work out as planned…

When Polly’s best friend Kerensa turns up with a secret that threatens the life Polly and Huckle have built together, the future begins to look uncertain. And then a face from Polly’s past reappears and things become even more complicated. Polly can usually find solace in baking but she has a feeling that’s not going to be enough this time. Can she get things back on track so that everyone has a merry Christmas?

Received this book for review from netgally and the publisher

Before i get in to my review i am just telling you to read the first two books in this series because this is the only book that i have read in this series and i felt like i was missing something so it took a long time for me to get into it.

This story spends the day before Christmas in the little town of Mount Polbearne and follows Polly Waterford who is super busy in her little bakery preparing all kinds of nice Christmas treats. And when she was not busy she was spending time with her fiance Huckle. Everything seemed to go right however when Polly’s best friend discovers that she is pregnant and Polly finds someone from her past life changes quickly and soon she is trying to save christmas from becoming a disaster.

I think this is because i have not read the previous books but i couldn’t connect with Polly and Huckle and i did not love them from the start it took a few chapters however i did start to connect. This is not your average christmas read as this is not as perfect  as most christmas books. I cant wait to go back and read the rest of this authors works because i enjoyed this enough to go back and read.  i also loved the humour throughout this.
