Hold Me Courtney Milan

Hey guys here I am with another book review

Hold Me (Cyclone Book 2) by [Milan, Courtney]Jay na Thalang is a demanding, driven genius. He doesn’t know how to stop or even slow down. The instant he lays eyes on Maria Lopez, he knows that she is a sexy distraction he can’t afford. He’s done his best to keep her at arm’s length, and he’s succeeded beyond his wildest dreams.

Maria has always been cautious. Now that her once-tiny, apocalypse-centered blog is hitting the mainstream, she’s even more careful about preserving her online anonymity. She hasn’t sent so much as a picture to the commenter she’s interacted with for eighteen months—not even after emails, hour-long chats, and a friendship that is slowly turning into more. Maybe one day, they’ll meet and see what happens.

But unbeknownst to them both, Jay is Maria’s commenter. They’ve already met. They already hate each other. And two determined enemies are about to discover that they’ve been secretly falling in love…

This is a second book in the series and I haven’t read any of the other books but i didn’t feel like i was missing anything so this can be read as a standalone.

The story follows Maira Lopez who is a transgender woman, graduate student and a secretly famous blogger who goes by the name of MCL and she blogs about science that have gone wrong. This also follows Jay na Thalang who is a physicist and overachiever and a workaholic with a prescion when using a laser and is known to show his judgement and abruptness to do something. He also hides under the nickname of Actual Physicist who’s been flirting with MCL for the last to yeas and when he sees Maria his friends little sister and thinks she is an empty head who’ll distract him from his studies.

I enjoyed this especially the scarasm, I also enjoyed the science aspect because i haven’t read anything like this before an i really enjoyed it. This book was a fun entetaining quick read and i totally recommend it
